Richard Gregory

Memorial services for Richard T. Gregory of Sacramento were conducted Saturday at Price Funeral Chapel, 6335 Sunrise Blvd., in Sacramento.

Mr. Gregory died Wednesday, June 9. He was 80.

Mr. Gregory retired after working as an engineer for 30 years at McClellan Air Force Base. He served on the USS Missouri when the treaty ending the war with Japan was signed.



He was born in Woodland and raised in Nevada City. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Susan Gregory; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Sam Slender; son, Mory L. Gregory; grandchildren Samantha, Alex, Andrew, Molly and Darcy; and companion, Patti Rebollo.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Betty June Gregory.




Memorial contributions can be made to the California State Railroad Museum Foundation.
