Richard Ader

Richard W. Ader of Grass Valley died April 28 in Grass Valley. He was 79.

In accordance with Mr. Ader’s wishes, no services will be held. Burial is at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 9, 1926 in Ohio to Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Ader.



Mr. Ader served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Marjorie Pauline Ader, and worked in furniture sales for 30 years.

Mr. Ader is survived by Phil Ruble and Mimi Simmons, his step-son and daughter-in-law, of Nevada City; grandchildren, Craig Ruble and Laurie Michel, and four great-grandchildren.




He was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie, in October 2003.

Memorial contributions to Hospice of the Foothills or Abundant Life Community Church.

Arrangements under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
