Rich Jimenez

Services for Rich Jimenez of Grass Valley were conducted Wednesday, Sept. 29, at St. Anthony Claret, 1450 E. La Palma Ave. in Anaheim. Burial was at the Holy Sepulchre in Anaheim.

Mr. Jimenez died Friday, Sept. 24, at Placenita Linda Hospital in Southern California. He was 47.

He was born Oct. 16, 1956, in Yorba Linda. He was raised in Yorba Linda and moved to Grass Valley in the late 1980s. He worked for the County of Nevada with the Department of Sanitation for 13 years as a supervisor. He volunteered with 4-H for 10 years, working with local kids raising pigs for the Nevada County Fair. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, casinos, buying Lotto tickets and his children.



He is survived by his son, Joshua Jimenez of Grass Valley; and daughter, Angela Jimenez of Grass Valley.
