Review: Everybody wants Avril

That’s right, Avril Lavigne. Just because she’s a girl with big dreams and a hit single doesn’t mean you have to immediately put this new artist into the Britney, Mandy, Christina and Jessica category … just yet, anyways. In fact, she’s not even (that) blonde.

Her image is skater-punk, her music is refreshing. Her debut album, “Let Go,” has swept the nation, leaving everyone wanting more Avril. Finally, a girl who isn’t into making a name for herself with the image of sex. Her attitude and image are tough but still tasteful, as is her music.

Avril’s single “Complicated” slammed onto radio stations earlier this year. The new flavor of her heartfelt lyrics and catchy yet smooth tunes has yet to leave our mouths. So her check out – her tie-and-T-shirt tomboy ways may just be what you’ve been craving. Take advantage while she’s on fire, although something tells me Avril is going to be around for a while.
