Rescuers find body of woman missing in Yolo county

BROOKS — Authorities have found the body of a 77-year-old woman who was last seen leaving a Yolo County casino.

The body of Chee Tse was found Sunday night about a quarter mile southeast of the casino by a Yolo County sheriff’s staff member.

Robert LaBrash, the county’s chief deputy coroner, says an autopsy performed Monday afternoon did not reveal when or how Tse died. He says there was no sign of trauma or foul play.

Tse left her home in San Francisco on Tuesday morning for a trip to Cache Creek Casino, about 50 miles northwest of Sacramento. She was spotted at 5:30 p.m. the following day walking east on Highway 16.

Authorities say Tse spoke only Cantonese and suffered from mental health problems related to her age.
