Reply to Bob Thomas’ Letter to the Editor

Dear Bob,

For your information I’ve been an acting coach to Warner Brothers, Columbia, Disney, and Paramount Studios. I’ve also been psycho-drama consultant to the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations. I’ve also been nominated for a Writer’s Emmy for the program The Siesta is Over.

We have never met, but theater friends of mine have seen you perform. Your letter to me has deeply saddened me, and I’ve lost some sleep over it. My film The Worm Eaters is considered a cult classic in France, Germany, Italy and this country.

My play The Treasure of the Sierra Madre based upon the famous motion picture is performed at regional theaters with excellent reviews and standing ovations.

It is obvious to me that you will never work for me as an actor. You are not the only one who has ever disagreed with me. E-mail my first wife.

I repeat, you’re not the first one who doesn’t like me.

Stand in line.
