Renee Mendez Victory died at Sparks, NV, Tues. July 3, 2007 of natural causes.

Born in New Orleans June 30, 1925, raised in Sacramento, longtime Nevada City resident. McClatchy High Class of ’43, Dominican College of San Rafael Class of ’47. Music teacher and f rst EEOC offi cer on the Tahoe National Forest in the 1970s.

After retirement she enjoyed Bridge and Senior Center activities.



She was proceeded in death by mother, Ivy Mae Pummels; Dad, Richard Oeberst; husband and childrens’ father, Richard Nollner in March 2007; husband Kerb L.(Bob) Victory in 1993. She is survived by her brother, Carl (Barbara) Oeberst; children Claudia (Kerry) Bach, Leslie Brown, William Nollner, John (Julie) Nollner, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 26, 9:30 am at the Sparks United Methodist Church, 1231 Pyramid Way, Sparks. In lieu of flowers the family requests that your donation be made to The Childrens’ Cabinet, 1090 S. Rock Blvd., Reno NV 89502.
