The Knights of Columbus of Grass Valley and parishioners of Saint Patrick Catholic Church dedicated a memorial to the Unborn Child on Sunday, Sept. 26.
The marble stone memorial is a reminder that many “unwanted” children are denied their rights to become living human beings and a productive member of society.
The memorial was provided by fund-raising efforts of the Knights and members of the parish. The memorial is located in the rose garden adjacent to the hall and church.
The history of the building that now houses JJ Jackson’s in Nevada City has a long and storied history.
