Unity in the Gold Country

At Unity in the Gold Country this Sunday, the Rev. Joe Sloan will speak on “Seeing God.” Services are held at 10:30 a.m. at Esterly Hall, 336 Crown Point Circle (Board of Realtors Building). Mary Bennet and Doug Hall will provide the music. Unity’s youth groups meet at the Spiritual Learning Center, 333 Crown Point Circle, Suite 215. Child care is available at Esterly Hall. Unity is open to all people, and everyone is welcome.

Solid Rock Foursquare Church




Solid Rock healing rooms are open the first three Mondays of each month to anyone who desires private, personal prayer for physical, emotional or spiritual healing. The room is open from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Throughout the week: Single Women’s Fellowship is learning about “Safe People” and meets every Tuesday at 7 p.m.; Women’s Ministry, currently doing a study of Proverbs, meets Friday mornings at 10 a.m. for fellowship and prayer; InnerState Youth Ministries meets every Friday at 6 p.m.; Reconcilers, taught by Pastor Ron Neilsen, is Sunday at 6 p.m. Sunday services are Adult Bible Study at 10 a.m. and Worship Service with Senior Pastor Jim Edwards, sharing God’s Word, at 11 a.m. Home Fellowships meet throughout the week. Word-A-Live! Family Church

We at Word-A-Live! Family Church invite all denominations to come worship in God’s presence every Sunday. pastors Mike and Sandra Chipchase minister powerfully under the unction of the Holy Spirit.

This Sunday, Feb. 22, at the 10:30 a.m. service only, we welcome Pastors Richard and Rebecca Birch, missionaries from the Canadian Artic, as our guest speakers. There will be no evening service on this Sunday.

Women’s Frontline Bible Study is today, Feb. 19. Fellowship is from 9:30 to 10 a.m., Bible study from 10 to 11:15a.m.

Corporate Prayer is every Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m.

Nutrition and Weight Loss is Monday, Feb. 23, at 6:30 p.m.

Intercessory Prayer is every Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Kick-Off of our visiting guest speakers, Pastors Tom and Stella Terry from Wisconsin, will be Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m.

Word-A-Live! Family Church, 10528 Spenceville Rd., Penn Valley, is a nondenominational Full Gospel Church with emphasis on equipping the Saints for the work of the ministry.

Calvary Chapel

Sunday, Feb. 15, the board of directors at Calvary Chapel of Grass Valley announced to the congregation that Todd Johnson will assume the duties of senior pastor.

Johnson has been with Calvary Chapel for 13 years, serving as an assistant pastor working primarily with the youth department. He and his wife, Sharon, recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary and have three children: Morgan, 11, Caleb, 8, and Makenzie, 4.

A special reception was held Sunday.
