Calvary Bible Church is holding a Women’s Conference on April 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The theme is “Sharing Life,” featuring speaker Lisa Wilson. Lisa and her husband Randy have seven children ages 3 to 21, whom she home schools. They have authored three books and created the Father-Daughter Purity Ball and the Covenant Marriage Ball, desiring to bring the kingdom of God into culture.

Lisa will be sharing about difficult times she has walked through and how other women walked with her and ministered to her by modeling the type of life that would carry her through her next seasons of difficulty.

Morning snacks and coffee, lunch, and materials are included in the registration fee of $25. Walk-in registration is available, however, all registrations received after March 22 will not include lunch. For more information or to obtain a brochure, call 273-1343.

Christian Life Center

Pastor Jerry Stroup will be preaching Sunday morning out of the book of Revelation “The Message to the Church in Pergamum.” Sunday evening, our study will continue in Revelation “The Message to the Church in Thyatira.” Monday at 7 p.m. Reverend Daniel Bracken from Kings Cathredral in Hawaii will be speaking at a special service. Wednesday nights are a time of family fellowship with dinner at 6 p.m. and studies for all ages at 7 p.m. Feel free to join in on these ongoing studies at any time. Christian Science Church

“Substance” is the subject of the Bible lesson to be read at the 10 a.m. service, March 12. Biblical selection is from 1 Timothy: “Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate.”

EarthSpirit Center

EarthSpirit Center Gatherings are held on the first Sunday of each month. On April 2, Rev. Dr. Nanci Shanderá will speak on the inner deaths and resurrections we experience in the transformational process. An interactive discussion follows, along with a closing healing circle. The Gathering is held at 10 a.m. at Veteran’s Hall in Nevada City (corner North Pine and Cottage). Abundant parking, wheelchair accessible. Afterward, Dr. Nanci will present “Transformational Alchemy,” an introductory workshop that will assist you in identifying stages of your spiritual growth and what they mean from a non-judgmental perspective. The workshop will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Veteran’s Hall. Call for more information and to preregister.

EarthSpirit is a Mystery School that offers spiritual counseling and dreamwork with Dr. Shanderá, who is a master dream teacher; classes on various subjects such as Alchemy and Shamanism; Eldership Circle; The Gold Within You workshops; Vision Quests; and mysteries study trips to Europe.
