First Baptist Church of Nevada City welcomes you. Join us on Sundays for Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. and worship services at 10:30 a.m. This Sunday, Pastor Bill Romell will bring the message, titled: “Nobody Knows The Trouble I’ve Seen Ð Part 1,” with the text from James 1:1-12.

We have a potluck and Bible study every Wednesday, at 6 p.m. We are currently studying the book of Acts.

This Saturday is the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast at 8 a.m.

Peace Lutheran Church

Pastor Richard Johnson will preach at both services this week at Peace Lutheran Church. The congregation worships at 8 and 10:45 a.m. each Sunday. The senior choir will sing at the late service. The congregation’s annual meeting will take place immediately following the late service.

Pastor Johnson continues his Sunday School class on the gospel of Mark at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Eatman is leading a group that is “reading through the Bible in 90 days”; they also meet at 9:30 a.m. to reflect on this week’s reading.

New Covenant Baptist Church

Mountain Stream Meditation Center

Mountain Stream Meditation Center, a Buddhist Insight meditation group, meets Mondays from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Wild Mountain Yoga, 574 Searls Ave. in Nevada City.
