Emmanuel Episcopal

Thursday’s soup supper at Emmanuel Episcopal Church will begin at 5:30 p.m. It will be followed by a brief program and Compline, a short service of night prayers. Compline was merged with Vespers to form the Evening Prayer service first used at the beginning of the sixth century to end the working day in prayer and contemplation.

Holy Eucharist for the Fourth Sunday in Lent will be celebrated at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Friar Phil Reinheimer will preach on “The New Creation of Christ,” based on Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians.

Visit or call the church office at 273-7876 for further information on Lenten activities and services.
