Reinette Senum discusses solo trip

Carol Feineman

From June 3 to 6, Reinette Senum will give repeat presentations about her solo four-month, 1,500-mile Alaskan trek in 1994 at the Off Center Stage in Grass Valley.

“I’m doing this show one more time before I go to Holland to meet with former Nevada County actor Tim Ward to revamp the show,” Senum said. She will present the show for two weeks while there.

The Alaskan presentation includes video footage and slides Senum shot for National Geographic and a more recent story about Senum’s familial connection to Brig. Gen. Frederick Funston.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. June 3, 8 p.m. June 4 and 5, and 2 p.m. June 6.

Admission is $12 general, $10 for seniors and $8 for children at the door. Admission is $2 less per ticket if reservations are made in advance.

Off Center Stage is in back of Center for the Arts on Richardson Street. Call 470-8381 for tickets, information or reservations.
