Reggae Angels play Cooper’s

Formerly The Elevations, Reggae Angels bring their conscious roots music to Cooper’s this Saturday.

Reggae’s Angels originals focus on spirituality and to affirm and spread the message of the prophets, or in other words, to live in harmony with the divine law of the creator.

The Oakland-based group plays regularly throughout the western states and Canada, often headlining reggae festivals. The group has also backed Don Carlos, Michael Rose and The Abyssinians.

Saturday’s cover is $5. The band plays from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Cooper’s is at 235 Commercial St., Nevada City.
