Re: ‘Supreme Court "betrayed their duty" in same-sex ruling’

Thank God for Peter Pohorsky’s clear-eyed analysis of the whole gay marriage disgrace. I certainly don’t want any of those gay couples in my neighborhood. Well, except maybe those nice men who bought the place down the street and made it into the nicest house on the block. Sure, they’re professionals and friendly and considerate, and starting a program to help an impoverished village in Mexico, but hey, if it wasn’t for their unnatural lifestyle, we wouldn’t be having all these floods and fires.

Well, sure, maybe there’s more actual, like, evidence that climate change, fires, floods, and hurricanes are caused by SUVs driven by unbelievers who I guess missed the Bible lessons about tolerance and stewardship of the earth. But since the world is ending any day now, thanks to those darned homosexuals, we might as well use up as much stuff as we can, right?

Well, sure, maybe people have predicted the end of the world before – kind of a lot, actually – but if they’re wrong again this time and we’ve destroyed the planet prematurely, we can just … um … well … We’ll figure something out, okay?
