Ralph Smith

Graveside services for Ralph Marvin Smith of Tucson, Ariz., will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Penn Valley Historical Cemetery in Penn Valley. Pastor Richard Johnson of Peace Lutheran Church will officiate the services.

Mr. Smith died Thursday, July 22, in Tucson, Ariz. He was 81.

He was born Feb. 14, 1923, in Pasadena and was a previous resident of Nevada County.



He is survived by his wife, Lucille “Lou” Smith of Tucson; daughter and son-in-law, Cyndee and Leighton Walker of Vista; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Eric and Brigitte; grandsons Anthony and Joseph; and great-grandsons Trevor and Noah.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Fund.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
