Ralph Heath

Ralph Edward Heath, 81, of Nevada City, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, in Grass Valley.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services. His ashes will be scattered at the same longitude and latitude as his wife, Helen.

Mr. Heath was born Oct. 9, 1924, in Iowa, to Ralph B. and Flossie Heath. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945, during World War II. He graduated high school and married Helen. He was self-employed in construction. He was a member of the Rough and Ready Grange, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Nevada City Chapter. He was a stamp collector and rock hound.



He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Heath in 1992.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
