New Jersey’s Railroad Earth rolls into Grass Valley to play bluegrass, folk, country, Celtic and rock originals in a KVMR nightLive show on Sept. 12.

Formed less than two years ago, Railroad Earth has acquired fans across the country by playing at high-profile festivals, including the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival and High Sierra Music Festival.

MTV’s hit show “The Real World” licensed the group’s debut CD, “The Black Bear Sessions,” to use.

The Sept. 12 concert is at 8 p.m. at Center for the Arts, 314 W. Main St.

Admission is $10. Tickets are at BriarPatch, Herb Shop Records and Foggy Mountain Music.

The show can also be heard live on KVMR (89.5 FM) from 8 to 10 p.m. Call the center at 274-8384 with any questions.
