Questions for liberals

I would like to ask this newspaper’s liberal readers a few questions:

Does the seething hatred and rage that you direct toward our president extend to the people in this country who voted for him, and who support his decisions? While it is obvious that you do not respect George W. Bush, can you so lightly dismiss the millions of Americans who thank God he is our president? Does the losing faction in a democracy’s electoral process really have the right to attempt to sabotage the elected administration in a time of war? If so, just where does that leave us? I have long tried to understand what malignant shadows have perverted your vision of America into one of resentment and darkness.

President Bush will be re-elected by a landslide in November. What then, will become of your hatred? You have already held on to this poison for too long and it has corrupted your spirit and embittered your heart. Time ” and this nation ” will move on with or without you.

History will come to regard George W. Bush as one of our greatest presidents, and future generations will be genuinely mystified by your perspective and behavior.
