Punish the judge

I find myself nearly in total agreement with The Union Publisher Jeff Ackerman concerning the release of Mark Renee DelCarlo after his fifth conviction for driving under the influence of alcohol. But removing his hands would only slow this addict down for a while. He’d learn to drive using prosthetic devices. And how to clutch a whiskey bottle, too.

A more severe punishment would be to have another court declare that Judge Robert Tamietti be held fiscally and morally responsible for any automobile accidents caused by DelCarlo. If there are widows and orphans, Tamietti should move them into his home, at least until the kids are through school. For which he’ll pay the tuition.
