Promises and tricks

Senator Kerry made a lot of promises but forgot to back it up with any substance or a discernible plan. He thinks that he can rally a larger contingent of allies to fight terrorism, but insults the leader in Iraq and the 30 nation contingent in this present conflict.

His approach is on global appeasement in certain situations but bilateral talks in other situations. His logic on North Korea shows a complete lack of understanding. Bilateral talks didn’t work. China, Japan, Russia and South Korea must be included in any negotiated verifiable treaty with North Korea. China has real influence that can be used in this region.

President Bush tried to work within the U.N. framework; but, when they don’t back up their resolutions, choices are limited. I’m glad that we have a leader who can make hard choices.

No dirty tricks, including “Rathergate” forged documents, or e-mails to university students warning them of an appending military draft has diverted President Bush from his primary goal. Interestingly, two key Democrats authored this draft bill Political purposes? I think so. The president and military leaders support a voluntary force.
