Pressure congress on Oil prices

Everybody is complaining about the high prices of gasoline, nearly $5 per gallon. Who is to blame? Some voices say: The U.S. Congress! For decades the radical environmentalists managed to intimidate Congress and the president into restrictions on oil production and exploration, even when certain “wilderness areas” are known to contain large amounts of oil and natural gas.

To environmentalists, the respect for the nature became a new religion that views nature as a “sacred ground,” not to be disturbed. This “Deep Ecology” is based on the worship of the planet Earth, the mystic goddess Gaia. Their leaders consider man a “disease” on Earth’s “skin.” Such views are in drastic contrast with our traditional belief that the creator gave us the Earth for our use.

The OPEC countries turned our unwillingness to use our resources into blackmailing us with exorbitant prices for their oil. Complaining is not enough. Pressure the Congress to reverse the restrictions! “Tell ’em to drill for oil now!” As soon as the Congress will declare an open season for new oil exploration (while alternative sources of energy are developed), the prices of gasoline will go down!
