Presentation: ‘Career Preparedness, Disability Resources and Mentoring’

Members of the public are invited to the Nov. 20 Business & Professional Women of Nevada County’s monthly dinner meeting at the Trolley Junction Restaurant at the Northern Queen, 400 Railroad Ave. in Nevada City. The program is entitled, “Three Women Serving Nevada County Women in Career Preparedness, Disability Resources and Mentoring,” presented by Karen Heggerty, Career Services of Nevada County; Carly Pacheco, deputy director of FREED; and Jasmine Aebersold, mentor for The Friendships Club’s alumni program. The Helga Rohl Encouragement Award will also be awarded to two local women students. Attendees must pre-pay with their reservation at Social/networking begins at 5:30, with dinner at 6 p.m. Cost is $22.50 per person for dinner or $5 for the program only. Deadline for reservations is 5 p.m. on Nov. 17.
