Political pollution

Laura Brown’s report Monday about Al Gore, his winning of the Nobel prize and global warming leads me to ask a few questions:

1. Who is the wizard who determined that today’s climate is the best one for earth?

2. Why is Mars getting warmer? Did we cause pollution there, too?

3. How are we supposed to accept the misleading information in Gore’s propaganda movie? Example: Glaciers are melting in the Andes and in Switzerland. In fact, only one is retreating, while 26 are growing in the Andes. As some retreat in Switzerland, buildings and farms are being uncovered. Maybe it was warmer in the not too distant past.

4. Isn’t it arrogant of believers in man-made global warming to think humans can affect our world’s climate, when God causes more “pollution” with one volcanic eruption than man has made in our entire history?

5. There is no consensus among scientists re global warming. That’s just another convenient lie.

6. Last, what do Gore’s misrepresentations on climate change have to do with peace?

I support protecting the environment, but don’t believe any of the political garbage being put out by Gore and his duped followers.
