Plant sale, flea market on San Juan Ridge

The North Columbia Schoolhouse Cultural Center’s annual Plant Sale and Flea Market will take place Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the San Juan Ridge (17894 Tyler Foote Road). The sale will not only include plants, herbs and flowers, but also jewelry, art, clothes and other handmade crafts and gifts.

Says the center’s executive direct Rainy Greensfelder, “This flea market is one of the most unique sales in Nevada County and promises some rare finds.”

This year’s sale hopes to draw more than 30 vendors and is one of the largest sales held at NCSCC. Food and drinks will be available. Admission to this event is free. Contact the center at 265-2628 or e-mail ncscc@nccn.net for more information or to register as a vendor.
