The Union staff

Up through May 31, Pioneer Arts’ 21st annual Members’ Art Show at the Center for the Arts includes watercolors, pastels, oil paintings, sculpture, digital art and mixed media works.

The art organization was formed in 1966 to promote Western Nevada County artists. Pioneer Arts provides scholarships, sponsors two annual exhibitions, displays artwork at the Growers’ Market on Saturdays and coordinates the Nevada County Fair art exhibit.

Viewing hours for the show are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays at the center, 314 W. Main St. in Grass Valley. Call 274-8384 or check the Web at http://www.pioneerart.com for more information about the annual show.
