Pianist-vocalist to join Klempau in NC

Nancy Briggs, a Sacramento pianist-vocalist-composer, will join her friend Paul Klempau, a Nevada City bassist, for jazzy tunes at Kirby’s Creekside Restaurant & Bar this weekend.

The two frequently play together in her hometown. This weekend, they’re playing in Klempau’s hometown.

Briggs has performed jazz professionally for 20 years. She also includes Brazilian, salsa, R&B and big-band sounds in her repertoire.

Kirby’s Creekside is at 101 Broad St., Nevada City.

Music runs from 8 to 11:30 p.m. both Friday and Saturday. There’s no cover either night.
