Peterson’s Corner will feature Jerry Lox Band

The Jerry Lox Band, which plays heartfelt country originals, debuts Friday at Peterson’s Corner.

Band leader Lox’s songs about the pitfalls and the ups and downs of life include his own experiences about jail, probation and the present – which features better days for the Nevada County resident.

Lox grew up listening to old country music in Texas and played on the front porch to anyone who walked by. In his band, Lox is on rhythm guitar, harmonica and vocals.

The Jerry Lox Band plays Friday from 8 to 11 p.m. There is no cover. Peterson’s Corner is at the corner of Highway 49 and Pleasant Valley Road on the San Juan Ridge. Call 292-3311 for any questions.
