Penn Valley school district closed Tuesday due to PG&E power shutoffs

Schools in the Penn Valley Union Elementary School District will be closed Tuesday, according to Nevada County Superintendent of Schools Scott Lay.

The decision came because of power shutoffs made by PG&E, which are set to occur tonight across Nevada, Yuba and Butte counties.
