Peggy Eggen

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. May 23 at Sierra Memorial Lawn, Nevada City, for Peggy Yvonne Eggen. Mrs. Eggen passed away May 12 at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. She was 68.

Mrs. Eggen was born Jan. 20, 1939, to Floyd Nutt and Helen Nutt Chapman in Wheelen Springs, Ark.

She graduated from Nevada Union High School and worked for Pacific Bell Telephone for 15 years. Mrs. Eggen enjoyed bowling at the old Gold Bowl in Grass Valley and baseball.



She married Kenneth Perkins, Urban Waterman and Harold Eggen.

Mrs. Eggen is survived by her sister, Margaret Ennis of North San Juan; niece, Pamela Elliott of Dobbins; nephew, Eric Ennis of North San Juan; great-nephews Nehemiah Elliott and James Seeberg-Elliott, both of Dobbins; and great-niece, Liddy Louise Elliott of Dobbins. She was preceded in death by her parents; niece, Liddy S. Elliott; and nephew, Dean Ennis.




Memorial contributions can be made to the Nevada County Behavioral Health Department, 500 Crown Point Circle, Suite 120, Grass Valley.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
