Pauline Pearney

Pauline Pearney, 97, of Grass Valley died Friday, Feb. 13, at Spring Hill Manor.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Pearney was born Aug. 27, 1906, in Anaconda, Mont., to John and Mary Knez. She attended school in Anaconda. She married Fred Pearney in 1928 in Anaconda. She was a housewife. She enjoyed trips to Reno.



She is survived by her daughter, Pat Pasteris of Grass Valley; grandson, Fred Pasteris of Oak Harbor, Wash.; granddaughter, Christine Creech of Antelope; great-grandsons Tim Creech of Elk Grove and Tony Pasteris of Oak Harbor, Wash.; great-granddaughter, Rachael Lancaster of Oak Harbor; and great-great-grandchildren Jacob Lancaster of Oak Harbor and Matthew Creech of Elk Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Pearney, in 1963.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, 12399 Nevada City Highway, Grass Valley 95945.




Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
