Services for Paul B. Sink Jr. of Grass Valley will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Veterans Memorial Building in Grass Valley. Mr. Sink died Saturday, Feb. 8, at home. He was 79.

He was born May 5, 1923, in Los Angeles and graduated from South Gate High School before joining the U.S. Navy in 1941. He served in the Pacific during World War II and attended San Jose State after the war. He was a printer by trade and an amateur historian. He enjoyed Nevada County and he and his wife, Gracie, moved here 25 years ago. He was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, The Elks and the E. Clampus Vitus.

He is survived by his sons Paul Sink III, Karl Sink and Craig Sink; granddaughters Kaycee Sink and Nicole Eckerberg; and brother, Daniel Sink.
