Patsy Brown

Patsy Gail Brown died Oct. 27. She was 72.

A service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2, at Chapel of the Angels Mortuary, 250 Race St., Grass Valley.

A graveside service will follow at Loney-Sanford Cemetery, 27584 McCourtney Road, Grass Valley. A reception will follow at the Grass Valley Moose Lodge, 15694 Allison Ranch Road.

She was born July 25, 1938, in Hayward, Calif., to John Williard Williams and Zola Lee Smith Willams. She graduated from Hayward High School.

On Feb. 29, 1976, she married Rollyn Oakley Brown in Palo Alto, Calif.

Mrs. Brown enjoyed crocheting, gardening and cooking. She was a member of the Grass Valley Moose Lodge and the Sewers and Rippers of Auburn.

She is survived by her husband, Rollyn; sons, Sandy Geaslin of Healdsburg, Calif., Leslie James Geaslin of San Jose, Calif., and Eric Jason Geaslin of Park City, Utah; daughter, Julia Lee Storms of Nevada City; step-daughters, Julie Ann Greig of Magalena, Calif., Colleen Marie Brown of Roseburg, Ore., and Jeri Lynn Laird of Eugene, Ore.; step-son, Rollyn Wayne Brown of San Jose, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kathleen Anderson.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills. Arrangements are by Chapel of the Angels Mortuary, Grass Valley.
