Patrick Snodgrass

Patrick Leland Snodgrass of Oroville, a former Nevada City resident, died Thursday, Jan. 3 at Mercy Medical Center in Redding. He was 67.

Mr. Snodgrass was born Dec. 28, 1934, in Nevada City to Edward William and Angelina (Soga) Snodgrass. He attended Nevada City High School. Mr. Snodgrass served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-72, traveling extensively.

He retired from Citizens Utilities of Roseville in 1983. Mr. Snodgrass enjoyed painting, music, reading, golf, fishing and stamp collecting.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Bailey of Cottonwood; son, Michael Snodgrass of Sacramento; sisters Anne Angelini, Kathleen Christensen and Sharon Pello, all of Nevada City; grandchildren Tara, Nikki, Mathew, Joshua, Gianna and Tibre; and great-granddaughter, Katelyn.
