A celebration of life for Patricia Miriam Raridan of Grass Valley will be conducted Friday, July 2, at 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Community Church, 10795 Alta St. in Grass Valley. A reception will follow.
Mrs. Raridan died Tuesday, May 25, in Grass Valley. She was 72.
She was born July 2, 1931, in San Jose to Harlan Perdew and Dorothy Bartmess. She graduated from Polytechnic High School in San Francisco in 1949. She married William B. Raridan on May 19, 1950, in Los Gatos. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed the 49ers and Joe Montana, bird-watching, jigsaw puzzles, Yorkshire terriers, chocolate and living in Nevada County.
She is survived by her husband, William B. Raridan Sr. of Grass Valley; sons William B. Raridan Jr. of Pleasanton and Michael P. Raridan Sr. of Sacramento; daughters Dorothy Talan-Quaid of Grass Valley and Janet L. Welsh of Killeen, Texas; sister, Jean Hollenbeck of San Jose; brother, William Perdew of Ramona; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joanne Cripe; and granddaughter-in-law, Rebecca Talan.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills.
