Parent workshops offered by Nevada County Citizens for Choice

The Nevada County Citizens for Choice will offer workshops to parents called, “Talking to your children about sexuality: helpful hints and how-to’s,” on Oct. 25 and 26 as part of National Family Sexuality Education Month in Nevada County.

The workshops, which are identical but offered in two different locations, will feature psychologist and family therapist Dr. Jim Stratigakes and Sadie Wright, who teaches sexual education at Nevada Union High School.

The Oct. 25 workshop will take place at the United Methodist Church of Sierra Pines, 22559 W. Hacienda, near Lake of the Pines.



The Oct. 26 workshop will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains, 246 S. Church St., in downtown Grass Valley.

Both workshops will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
