Packed house for President’s Own: U.S. Marine Band plays on, hours after power outage ends at Nevada Union
Colonel Jason K. Fettig, the 28th director of the United States Marine Band, directs before a capacity crowd during Friday's performance of "The President's Own" at Nevada Union High School's Ali Gymnasium. The event was hosted by the Marine Corps League Gold Country Detachment #885 and Music In the Mountains. About 1,500 people enjoyed the concert, organizers said, which avoided cancellation with the restoration of power Friday morning at the high school.
