Only Olivia Diaz

The Board of Supervisors, a nonpartisan office, has been under recent assault to represent a specific political affiliations or extreme issue-based agendas that foster polarization.

Our Board of Supervisors needs a voice of reason that can heal and unify the wounds our county has experienced over the last couple of years. The Board of Supervisors needs a voice that is neither beholden to, nor economically entwined with, the development industry.

We need a strong advocate that cares about family friendly neighborhoods, fire-safe communities, and fair and balanced land use for our community. We need a person that will exercise a responsible and responsive voice for representing the citizens of this county, not the special interests.

While it appears as though we may have two potential qualified candidates, for the District 1 seat, only Olivia Diaz has the training and the experience to facilitate the healing and unification our county needs. In past documented Union articles, her opponent has exhibited the type of inflammatory name calling that unfortunately divides our county, not heals it. The voice that best represents the quality and the reasons that we all choose to live in this county is Olivia Diaz.
