Onita Scott

Memorial services for Onita Scott of Grass Valley will be conducted at a later date. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Robert Lee Cemetery in Robert Lee, Texas.

Mrs. Scott died Tuesday, Jan. 18, at home. She was 76.

She was born Aug. 8, 1928, in Robert Lee, Texas, to Henry and Grace (Landers) Varnadore. She graduated from Robert Lee High School. She married Wilton Scott. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed making flower arrangements, bridge, paining and golf.

She is survived by her sons Jerry Scott of Alvarado, Texas, Larry Scott of Grass Valley, Dale Scott of Granite Bay, and Clayton Scott of Tigard, Ore.; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton Scott, in 2001.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
