Obituary: Nadine Wadlington

A memorial Mass for Nadine Scully Wadlington of Nevada City will be celebrated at 8 a.m. on April 9 at St. Canice Catholic Church in Nevada City. Burial will be at Sierra Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Nevada City.

Mrs. Wadlington died Wednesday, March 20, in Live Oak. She was 90.



She was born Aug. 23, 1911, in Sacramento to George and Helena Scully. She graduated from St. Francis High School in Sacramento and attended Sacramento City College for two years. She married Dale Wadlington in Sacramento in 1963.




She enjoyed sewing, gardening, flower arranging and arts and crafts.

She is survived by her daughter, Brooke Hamlin of Nevada City and San Rafael. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979; and son, Michael Hamlin, in 1979.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
