Obituary: Margie Warren

A memorial service for Margie C. Warren of Grass Valley will be conducted at 2 p.m. Jan. 13 at Sierra Presbyterian Church.

She died Sunday, Dec. 30, in Auburn. She was 84.

Mrs. Warren was born Dec. 20, 1917, in Dallas. She married William F. Warren in 1938, and they moved to Pleasant Hill in 1945.



She moved to Grass Valley in 1978. She was a homemaker until she went to work for the U.S. Forest Service in 1965.

Mrs. Warren was a member of Sierra Presbyterian Church and enjoyed cross stitching, bridge, reading and spending time with her family.




She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Loretta and Don Foulk of Grass Valley; daughters Linda Jones of Grass Valley and Laraine Jellison of Auburn; son and daughter-in-law, William F. Warren Jr. and Jeanne Warren of Grass Valley; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Her husband died in 1988.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sierra Presbyterian Church or Hospice of the Foothills.
