Obituary: Landon Wyle

Memorial services for Landon Wesley Wyle of Grass Valley will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Abundant Life Community Church, 10795 Alta St. in Grass Valley.

Mr. Wyle died Dec. 21 in Grass Valley. He was 63.

He was born Dec. 4, 1938, in Quincy, Ill., to Wesley L. and Bertie (Wilson) Wyle. He married Sue on Aug. 10, 1957.



After graduating from high school, he attended a trade school. He worked as a steel fabricator and as a self-employed mechanic.

In his spare time, he was an inventor, a welder and a gold miner. He enjoyed archery, hunting and fishing, and loved animals.




Survivors include his wife Sue of Grass Valley; daughters Laurie Voight of Yreka, Pamela Moreno of Roseville and Deborah Thompson of Grass Valley; brother, Burrell Wyle of Santa Rosa; sisters Carolina Misner of Campbell and Evalina Brock of San Leandro; and four grandchildren.

His parents and a brother preceded him in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Save, P.O. Box 817, Grass Valley 95945. Hooper and Weaver Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
