Obituary: Elsie Boisvert

Elsie M. Boisvert, 91, of Grass Valley died Wednesday, Feb. 20, in Grass Valley.

Mrs. Boisvert was born Feb. 4, 1911, in Tyler, Texas, to Sim and Cloye Loggans. She served in the WAVES during World War II.




She received her degree from the University of Texas. She married Harold V. Boisvert on Jan. 4, 1946, at St. Mary’s Church in San Francisco. She taught in a one-room schoolhouse in Big Spring, Texas, for five years.

She is survived by husband, Harold V. Boisvert of Grass Valley; son, Thomas Boisvert of Loomis; and daughter, Patricia Iris of Lobelville, Tenn.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Neptune Society of Grass Valley.
