Obituary: David Gorman

Graveside services for David Randall Gorman of Penn Valley will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Grass Valley.

Gorman died Saturday, Feb. 23, at home. He was 14.

He was born Dec. 23, 1987, in Phoenix. He attended Deer Creek and Seven Hills schools. He enjoyed video games, working on his computer, watching NASCAR racing and hanging out with his friends. He was an avid Hot Wheels car collector.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Suzanne Gorman and Larry Goodman Sr.; father, James Gorman; sisters Amber Gorman and Alexis Richardson; niece, Kailey Gorman; stepsister and stepbrother-in-law, Tammy and Jason Bellew; stepbrother, Larry Goodman Jr.; grandparents Jackie and Jim Kincaid; step-grandmother and grandfather, Katie and Chester Hilliard Sr.; grandmother Eva Petty; aunt and uncle, Jim and Janet Price; uncle Chester Hilliard Jr.; aunt Shelly Taylor; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeremy Gordon, in 1997.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, 12399 Nevada City Highway, Grass Valley 95945.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
