Obituary: Carl Hatter

Visitation for family and friends of Carl H. Hatter of Rocklin will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive in Los Angeles. Services will be conducted there Friday at 12:30 p.m., followed by burial.

Mr. Hatter died Friday, Feb. 8, in Roseville.



He was born May 21, 1921, in Blanchard, Okla. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Sea Bee from August 1942 to November 1945. He joined to the Los Angeles Police Department March 18, 1946, and retired June 28, 1974. He had lived in Alta Sierra for 16 years.




He is survived by his wife, Emma of Rocklin; sons Donald of Elk Grove and Tom of North Hollywood; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
