Roberta Palmer

Roberta “Robin” Palmer passed away peacefully on July 23, 2013, with family and friends by her side.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, at Biblical Gardens off of Highway 49.

Roberta was born in Grass Valley to Lavern and Rex Cline on March 4, 1956.

Robin lead a fulfilled life as an expert in auto mechanics and restoration. She farmed with her family and later became a wonderful caregiver.

Robin enjoyed going on nature walks, cooking delicious meals for her family and friends and rescuing animals from abuse and abandonment. She spent much of her time restoring old vehicles. Her favorite pastime was making memories with the people closest to her.

Words to describe Robin would be giving, humorous, fun and loving. All that knew her cherished her happy spirit and felt a part of her big heart.

Robin is survived by her longtime partner Kurt Stoesser; children Kevin Palmer and Karen Alcorn; grandchildren Tyler Bourget, Melissa Palmer, Paige Bourget, Taylor Alcorn and Aaron Alcorn; siblings Bill, Jeritta, Hellen, Bob and Penny.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robin’s honor to Scooter’s Pals, P.O. Box 1687, Cedar Ridge, Calif. 95924, http://www.scooterspals.org.
