Paul Blasi

On Sept. 29, 2013, Paul Leroy Blasi was suddenly called to gather around the river with our lord.

He was an amazing man that you either loved or hated but was loved by most. Paul was a farrier, cowboy, outrider, storyteller, horseman, welder, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

He touched so many lives from coast to coast and border to border. Paul Blasi will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Michele Jauregui-Blasi; children Jessie, Casey, Jamie, Josie and Amaya; grandchildren Cheyanne, Braiden, Laramie and twins due in November, Brendle and Oaklee. He was the youngest of nine children and leaves behind sisters Edith and Mary; brothers Leroy, Quientin, Dan, Joel, Ron and Mark; and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Urban and Mildred.

A memorial celebration will be at 11 a.m. Oct.. 26, 2013, in Penn Valley, Calif., at the Penn Valley Fire House. It’s going to be a potluck and bring your stories to share. If you need information, you can call 530-432-2456
