Obituary of Valerie Robinson

Valerie Robinson

Valerie Robinson, “Nani” to all that loved her, was born and raised in Hawaii, and passed away Oct. 4, 2015. She was surrounded by family and loved ones in her home in Auburn. She was 76.

A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at 250 Blair Mine Road, Angels Camp, CA 95222. Contact rockjok6@sbcglobal.net for additional information.

Nani was an avid golfer, amazing cook, loved to fly and even had her own pilot’s license. She could dance the hula, won the Miss Kailua beauty pageant, and it’s her hands you see cutting the pineapple on Hawaii’s Dole Pineapple Plant tour.

She is survived by her two sons, Buddy and Rocky Robinson; her daughter Lori Russell; and four granddaughters, Cassie and Nikki Nelson, Kristin Robinson and Jillian Robinson.
