Obituary of Sharon (Hamlin) Taylor

Sharon (Hamlin) Taylor passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2017 while at home recovering from a recent surgery.

Sharon was born in Nevada City and grew up in Camptonville and Nevada City/Grass Valley, where she spent most of her life.

She was smart, independent and stubborn, but also kind, sweet, loving, loyal and generous to a fault. She lived life on her own terms, but was always there whenever needed by family or friends. Her warm heart and loving spirit will truly be missed, and she will be loved and in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her son Clint (Jennifer); daughter Heather; beloved puppies Foxy, Little Bit and Hershey; granddaughter Hannah; grandson Justin; sister Cathy (John); brother Mike (Joanne); stepmother Gen as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and stepsisters.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Bodie Hamlin and Pat Winebarger.

At Sharon’s request, there will be no services.

Arrangements are under the care of Chapel of the Angels Mortuary.
