Obituary of Mary Lou Dick

Mary Lou Dick passed away peacefully on July 4, 2017 in her home. She was 88.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, July 14, 2017 at Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley.

Mary Lou was born July 25, 1928 in Baker, Montana to Raymond and Etta Roppe. She was a registered nurse, who traveled on the ship, Hope. Later she settled in Mills Hospital in San Mateo, California.

She was a long-time member of the Sons of Norway, and attended the Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley.

Mary Lou is survived by her daughter Kathleen Springs; granddaughter Jessica Springs; and great-nephews, Douglas, Jeffrey, Christopher, and Eric Clift.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward L. Dick.

In lieu of flowers, please make all donations to Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley.

Arrangements are under the care of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary in Nevada City, CA.
